I've been playing the Content version and I've tried the patch on 3 different ROMs and I keep running into the same bug.

The game freezes on level up when you pick the "wooden hammer" bonus on the far left. I'm guessing that's the attack bonus?

Am I just having really bad luck with the base ROMs i'm finding and all 3 are bad or am I doing something else wrong here?

I know posting links to ROMs is against the rules but can anyone at least point me in the right direction?

Are you using Snes9X 1.53 or 1.54?

No actually, I use higan. I'll try it with Snes9x 1.53.
