Hi i'm loving your patch as it makes the game 10000X more fun but the only thing is the magical rope is always grayed out no matter what I do in the game. Was this intentional to make the game harder?

Not really - there weren't even many spots in the original where ropes were usable.

Ah ok thanks. Also just a quick question, but how do you get rid of the bug where when I use candy, it makes my characters HP go to 1? it happened to me yesterday and I think I gameovered myself with this save file now lol

You "fix" this by not equipping the armor that makes you undead.
