I figured I could just raise my FP with the gold flowers in this version but it seems I can't. Daisy says I need a different type of flower? Also does Long Gui drop anything now? I've beat him like 10 time and haven't gotten a drop.

The other flower is a shiny flower. They can be dropped from the dark dayzee in the palace of shadow located in bowser's keep.

The long gui drops the protect ring after battle, you might wanna beat general guy to make it a guaranteed drop.

Just beat General Guy. Is the protect ring any good? I've got 2 super ribbons already and the Speed brace so just wondering if its worth it.

It's pretty much useless compared to the super ribbons.
