Hey guys trying to find the shy away clan go get better a better weapon for Mario for the legendary seed and fertilizer 

There are Shy Aways in a variety of places, including Land's End and Bean Valley.

Just...beat smithy first, then listen to the old frog, best advice I've ever got.

So I have had this question answered sort of, I emptied my inventory out and have been battling them for hours and have not received the items yet so what am I doing wrong ?

I'd say bad luck.

I'd recommend going after the Anti Shy Aways first, since what they give has a higher drop rate.

I'd say get strong enough to take out the anti-guys before worrying about the bean stalk.
