So I know that the boss rush is supposed to be in Bowser's Keep right before the Palace of Shadow, and Frogfucius is, I think, directing me toward it. The problem is that there isn't the shaman to talk to where there used to be in v8. Am I missing something? Maybe I'm just missing one of the requirements necessary for the boss rush? Any advice would be appreciated.

To unlock the FF boss rush, you just have to beat Smithy first. The Shaman from v8 hasn't moved.

The other boss rush is now called Trial Mode and can be found on Star Hill.

To do the ff boss rush, you also have to beat every ff boss out in the other zones beforehand
