Omg, these anime AF battles

Just finished doing Terra. And I'll admit, I played like a Queen Scrub. Awful, just awful. Kept miscounting the turns to Black Hole, making nervous, semi-optimal decisions, failing to block her neutrals, down to last can of frog soda, Black Hole probably next turn. I hail mary two Morning Stars off of Peach for a measly 10k a pop. Terra keels over.

All HP with everyone but Bowser, who I only got HP with in the 108-HP levels. He also doesn’t have the best level up bonus setup (mostly attack), but that no longer matters because I don’t need to use him ever again.

No, but is Bowser necessary for them? I’m going Mario/Peach/Mallow right now, and Trial Mode doesn’t force you to use all characters.

It's not necessary, but I see many people use him. How you play is obviously up to you, I was just surprised.

Without revealing any strategies, all I'll say is that you should experiment with different characters to find out which ones are best suited to fight Xion.
